Alhamdulillah, the As-Salam Group team had the opportunity to carry out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme together with the community at Masjid Al-Umm, Bandar Baru Bangi.

This programme is part of As-Salam Group’s ongoing efforts to engage with the public and contribute to the wellbeing of the local community.

Gotong-Royong: Cleaning Up the Mosque Grounds

Among the main activities carried out was a gotong-royong (community clean-up) of the Masjid Al-Umm grounds. The As-Salam Group team and the community worked side by side to ensure the mosque’s spaces and surroundings were cleaner, more comfortable, and well-organised.

This activity not only brightened up the mosque area, but also served as a space to nurture a spirit of cooperation, togetherness, and social responsibility among everyone involved.

Free Health Screening for the Community

In addition to the clean-up activity, As-Salam Group — through the Klinik As-Salam team also provided Free Health Screening for visitors.

Eligibility checks for the PEKA B40 and SEHATi programmes were also made available to help eligible individuals access the benefits and appropriate healthcare services.

This initiative was held to raise public awareness of the importance of undergoing regular health check-ups. Early examination can help a person understand their own health status and take the necessary care measures.

Bringing Benefits to the Community

This programme reflects As-Salam Group’s commitment to continue serving the community not only through healthcare services, but also through community activities that provide direct benefits.
