As-Salam Group successfully organised the As-Salam FIT CPR – FIMA Lifesaver 2026 programme on 26 September 2026 at Masjid Al-Hasanah, Bandar Baru Bangi, bringing together families, healthcare professionals, volunteers and members of the community for a day of lifesaving education and awareness.
With the theme “1 Family, 1 Lifesaver,” the programme aimed to equip the public with basic emergency response knowledge that could make a real difference during unexpected situations.
CPR helps keep blood flowing to the brain and other vital organs while waiting for emergency medical help to arrive.
Learning Lifesaving Skills Together
Throughout the programme, participants had the opportunity to learn important skills including:
- Adult CPR
- Infant CPR
- Choking response
- AED awareness and usage
- Basic first aid
- CPR activities for children
These hands-on sessions were designed to help participants better understand what to do while waiting for professional medical assistance to arrive.
More Than Just CPR
The event was not limited to CPR education alone. It also featured several health-related activities and community-focused programmes, including health screening, heart-related assessments, dental education and other health awareness activities.
By combining emergency response education with general health awareness, the programme created a more meaningful experience for participants of different ages.
It also reflected As-Salam Group’s continuous commitment to making health education more accessible to the community.
Thank You to Everyone Involved
As-Salam Group would like to express its sincere appreciation to all collaborators, healthcare professionals, volunteers, staff members and participants who contributed their time, energy and commitment to making As-Salam FIT CPR – FIMA Lifesaver 2026 a success.
The involvement and effort from every individual played an important role in creating a programme that was not only educational, but also meaningful for the wider community.
We hope that the knowledge and experience gained from this programme will continue to be shared with families, friends and communities, helping more people become better prepared to respond during emergencies.
Together, we can build a community that is more aware, more prepared and more confident in taking action when it matters most.
1 Family, 1 Lifesaver.
